Route difficulty: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ [city walk/ run] See the beautiful cherry blossom trees in Downtown Vancouver. We will show you eight different cherry blossom trees as we run! This route was inspired by the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival and their neighbourhood map of all the trees in the city.

This route takes you around the Tidal Basin, where you will see the beautiful cherry blossoms. You will also hear audio messages from Kate, Director of Sales and Marketing, here at Pendry Washington DC, about what you'll see along the way. Route begins at the main entrance of Pendry Washington DC - The Wharf. People visit DC from around the country and around the globe to see these cherry blossom trees, which were a gift of friendship from the People of Japan to the United States in 1912. First Lady Helen Taft accepted the initial donation of 2,000 cherry trees that year and they have been celebrated ever since.
