Run along the coast of Lake Michigan on this 10K out and back! The Lakefront Trail is one of the most popular running and cycling routes in Chicago. This route starts and ends at the Chicago Red Line, on the corner of Chicago Ave and N State St, and takes you along the Lakefront Trail, past Oak Street Beach, Chess Pavilion and North Avenue Beach.

This tour takes you past some of Chicago’s finest public art. Starting and ending at the the city’s Art Institute, the route goes past the iconic Cloud Gate while bordering Millennium Park, then ventures into the financial district past displays including Calder’s Flamingo, Chagall’s Four Seasons and The Picasso.

The 606 trail was opened to the public in June 2015. This follows what used to be the old Bloomington rail line, and was revamped to create more green space for the city. The trail has been recommended for the surrounding architectural charms, and for bringing together arts, history, green space, and alternative transportation.

Starting and ending in Grant Park, the Chicago Rock n Roll Half is an extremely exciting urban run along some of Chicago’s liveliest streets, which will be blocked off on event day. Prepare to be entertained throughout your run with great live music!
