Route begins at the Pololu Valley Lookout.
This historic valley is the one of the most accessible and beautiful on the island. From the look out at the top, gaze over the lush valley and expansive Pacific Ocean as it meets the towering green cliffs that wind through a series of gorges culminating at Waipi’o Valley.
A 400ft hike down to Pololu Valley and it's black sand beach, scattered with large boulders and sliced by a stream making its way out of the valley.
You can choose to continue hiking 450ft up to the Honokane Nui Lookout.
