The Green Loop leaves the Village with both other loops, before turning left from the Yellow and Red loops. From here the Green Loop continues on a mellow cinder trail for another 1/4 mile before swinging left again on a single-track through the woods, primarily used by Dillon’s equestrian riders. Near mile 1.5, the trail joins up with the Yellow and Red Loops for a short hello, popping out of the trees and crossing the main park road before quickly saying goodbye to your Yellow and Red Loop friends, heading left to wander among the trees. Just after mile 2 you’ll hit the boardwalk around Bald Cypress Swamp - check out these amazing trees as you bound amongst them before getting back onto single track and climbing once again. As you reach the top of the climb and sneak onto another track, the trail gets gnarly, twisting and turning on a technical rooty surface. Just after your one mile to go alert, the trail crosses the outbound Yellow and Red Loops. This is your marker to put on your kick - less than a mile to go and it’s (almost) all downhill back to the Village and your anxiously awaiting teammates.
