The walk ascends steeply up by Poulanass Waterfall before entering the Lugduff Valley where a climb brings you up onto the boardwalk where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the lake and valley. The boardwalk trail then hugs the cliff of the Spinc before cutting down onto forest and returning to the starting point in the valley
