Route difficulty: ⭐️
Scenic route along Wrigley's Trail in Tin Hogback Park, down to Golden Ridge neighborhood then a short loop in Apex Park. There are many extensions to this loop deeper into Apex Park, to beautiful views of Denver, although much of it is quite exposed to the sun. One highlight trail further west into Apex Park is the very pretty Enchanted Forest trail, which offers some shade.
There is a bathroom and cold water fountain at the trailhead.
Notes:
- Wear sunscreen and bring water if going deeper into Apex Park. There is little shade on these routes. Look out for mountain bikers who share some of these trails. It helps to look up from the trail if you're running uphill.
- Always stay on the trail.
