Out and back route along a beautiful ridge from Origin Hotel Red Rocks through Dinosaur Park. Opportunities for great photos: you will be running right on a spine of a foothill! Once on the trail, it can be quite technical.
Important note:
- Rattlesnakes live in these areas and sometimes end up on the trails. Keep an eye on rocky parts of the trail and keep a dog on a close leash.
Notes:
- Wear sunscreen and bring water. There is little shade on these routes. Look out for mountain bikers who share some of these trails. It helps to look up from the trail if you're running uphill.
- Always stay on the trail.
- Wear shoes with good traction.
