Beaver Lake, often described as a jewel in the centre of the park, is a much visited riparian and wetland feature unique to Stanley Park and in Vancouver. The one kilometre-long pathway encircling the lake allows visitors views of both native and introduced water lilies which cover most of the lake’s surface as well as innumerable waterfowl and, of course, evidence of beavers at work.
