Route difficulty: ⭐️ Trail route via Village Walk Trail and Red Rocks Trail to a big and photogenic boulder. Shorter version of the 7 mile route to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Important note: - Rattlesnakes live in these areas and sometimes end up on the trails. Keep an eye on rocky parts of the trail and keep a dog on a close leash. Notes: - Wear sunscreen and bring water. There is little shade on these routes. Look out for mountain bikers who share some of these trails. It helps to look up from the trail if you're running uphill. - Always stay on the trail. - Wear shoes with good traction.
