This 8-kilometer course is the perfect route to test out the Bear Mountain trails! This course will start from the main parking lot and offer a gentle warm-up around the side of the lake before sending you on your main climb for the day! You will climb for just over 4 kilometers and get to see some lovely mountain views. We hit the Forest Service Road here for a bit before ducking into the trails and beginning our descent through the mossy forest. We cover some more ground on the FSR until we hit your second aid station and happy cheering station. Here, with just over 2 kilometers of smooth winding downhill trails, you will return to where you started at the main parking lot for all of the finish line celebrations! Expect two aid stations along the course.
